The Nutcracker Auditions 2024
Auditions for The Nutcracker will be held at the Clarence Location at
8180 Main St in Clarence on Sunday September 22 2024.
​
Your audition time will depend on your ballet class level, so please read the following schedule carefully:
Ballet 8 and Advanced Ballet
Please bring pointe shoes and ballet slippers

10:45 am Studio will be open for registration and warm-up
11:15 - 1:30 Audition

Ballet 6 & Ballet 7
1:00 - 1:30 Registration and warm-up
1:30 - 3:15 Audition​

General Information
​
Students age 6 and older will required to audition for The Nutcracker. If you are unable to attend the audition we may still have a part for you.
​
Everyone who audition will receive a part in The Nutcracker.
​
The performances will be divided into 2 casts.
​
Rehearsals for most parts will begin on Sunday September 29. All other parts will begin Sunday October 6.
​
Most roles will only rehearse on Sundays, with the exception of some Advanced (high-school age) students.
Angel rehearsals will begin in mid-October.
You may sign up (at the studio) your 4 or 5 year old to be an Angel in The Nutcracker on a first come, first served basis. Please know that Angel positions are limited, so sign up early.

Nutcracker rehearsals will be evenly divided between the Lockport & Clarence studios (5 - 6 at each studio).
There is a Performance Fee for each cast member, which will range from $60-$120, depending on your level and roles.
Fundraising:
Each family is required to sell 2 boxes of candy bars that will be handed out at the studio.​
